A New York man, Mark Freely, and his golden retriever are being credited for saving a baby deer in Long Island Sound.

Mark was strolling with his two dogs Sunday morning when he saw the baby deer floating in the cold waters off the coast.

Freeley started recording as his golden retriever, Storm, jumped into the water to get the animal.

“Storm just plunged into the water and started swimming out to the fawn, grabbed it by the neck, and started swimming to shore,” Freeley told CBS2.
