The pop music superstar appeared in court on Tuesday as a jury was finalized.
Taylor Swift accuses DJ, David Mueller, of slipping his hand under her dress while they posed for a picture together at one of her 2013 concerts.
Mueller denies the allegations, saying he was falsely accused of the groping. Soon after his bosses found out of the encounter, Mueller was fired. He’s seeking up to $3 million in damages.
Ms Swift, who was 23 at the time of the incident, is counter-suing Mr Mueller for the amount of $1 to set an example.
On Tuesday, jurors were shown a photograph of the alleged groping at a backstage meet-and-great before the show on 2 June 2013.

In the picture, Mr Mueller and his then-girlfriend, Shannon Melcher, stand with Ms Swift in the middle.
Mr Mueller’s right hand is hidden behind the singer as they pose for the picture.
During opening statements Mueller’s lawyer Gabriel McFarland showed the picture in question to jurors and argued “If you look at that photograph, his hand is not underneath Miss Swift’s skirt, and her skirt is not rumpled in any fashion,” noting that no one on Swift’s concert team saw anything wrong.
“Falsely accusing someone of inappropriate touching is equally offensive, equally wrong and should not be tolerated,” McFarland added.
In his opening statement, Douglas Baldridge, an attorney for the ‘Shake it off’ singer, told jurors that his superstar client is “absolutely certain” she was sexually assaulted and will prove it in court.
In the suit, Swift said she not only wants to hold Mueller accountable, but also hopes to “serv[e] as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts.”
